The game is a fun learning experience for everyone who participates. The winner of the game is determined by successfully answering questions about notable African Americans. The first player to accumulate 15 points wins the game. The score of 15 is in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. On January 15, 1929, Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia. A Baptist preacher, Reverend King was a prominent leader of the civil rights movement who dedicated his life to the causes of racial justice, equality and peace. On April 4, 1968, at the age of 39, the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee. Inscribed on the portion of his tomb he shares with his wife, Coretta, are the words, "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, Im free at last!" Dr. King is best known for his "I Have a Dream" speech which prompted the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
